As the Development Director, Maggie connects the Center for Economic Inclusion to community members who will invest in and support lasting change in Minnesota’s economy. Most recently, Maggie served as the Finance Director for Erin Murphy’s campaign, building a fundraising program around politics of joy. In addition, she was Associate Director of Women Winning, leading development and fundraising strategies for the organization. Maggie was previously employed by Books for Africa, where she successfully led communications and financial operations for the largest shipper of donated text and library books to the African continent. Her team shipped more than 5 million books to schools and libraries in 27 different countries in just two years.
Maggie received her undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in 2011, majoring in International Studies and Political Science. While in school, she kept busy with Model United Nations, Invisible Children, and a number of political campaigns.
