Executive Director, Northside Funders Group
Sarah Clyne is the executive director for Northside Funders Group (NFG), an integrated partner of the Center for Economic Inclusion. Prior to NFG, Sarah was the executive director for Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) where she helped establish an innovative and transformational birth-to-3 therapy program, re-instated adolescent programming and engaged in projects within Hennepin County and the City of Minneapolis to end gender-based violence. In addition, Sarah served as executive director of Joyce Preschool, which was awarded the Nonprofit Excellence award in 2013.
Sarah serves on the board of directors for Propel Nonprofits and WATCH MN. She also served on Mayor Hodges’ Cradle-to-K Cabinet and the Governor's Council on Law Enforcement and Community Relations. She is a founding advisory board member for Educators for Excellence-Minnesota.
Sarah is passionate about education, social justice, ending gender-based violence, and building cross-sector relationships to dismantle disparities in our communities. Sarah received a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and Spanish, both from the University of Minnesota.
