Vice President, Finance & Operations
Shétu Rose is responsible for the delivery of finance and operating support at the Center for Economic Inclusion. She has led and supported administrative and strategic management teams in the non-profit sector for more than 15 years.
Prior to joining the Center, Shétu served as director of finance and operations at AchieveMpls, an organization dedicated to aiding the success of low-income and minority students in Minneapolis. Before this, Shétu served as a finance officer at Medair, a humanitarian organization based in Switzerland, working with teams charged with delivering emergency aid and recovery services to displaced and impoverished populations in Afghanistan, Madagascar, South Sudan, Syria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Shétu began her career in management accounting abroad within the financial divisions of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the University of London. She has a bachelor's degree in management accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She lives in the south metro with her husband Theo and their daughter Makeda.
